Why not take over the whole hotel for a minimum of 2 nights to celebrate a birthday, wedding or just to get a gang of friends together.
We’ll tailor make a bespoke package for you incorporating walking, golfing, cycling, treasure hunts, in fact whatever you fancy we’ll take care of it.
Sample Exclusive Use Wedding Package – 30 Guests
ARRIVE FRIDAY AFTERNOON FROM 2PM
Check into rooms – we have 16 individual rooms all en suite, all rooms have Hypnos beds, Freeview TV, complimentary tea and coffee and superfast Wi Fi
Spend the afternoon settling in, use the time to explore our beautiful town of Kirkcudbright, or head straight to the bar and enjoy your fellow guests company.
Early evening meet for drinks in our Private Bar before heading along to dinner.
SATURDAY – GUESTS CAN COME DOWN TO BREAKFAST IN THEIR OWN TIME FROM 7.30 – 9.30AM AND ENJOY A TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH BREAKFAST
The day is then yours to plan as you wish, we would ensure your organised transport was in place if the ceremony was elsewhere, or you may prefer to marry here in our Burns Room, the room where Robert Burns is reputed to have written “The Selkirk Grace”
After the ceremony drinks and canapés would be offered in our lounge areas while your Photographer captures your day and you get the chance to chat to your guests. Followed by Dinner being announced and your party shown through to the candlelit Restaurant. ( Wedding photographer additional cost to the package )
Dinner can be whatever you want it to be, a relaxed BBQ, buffet and wood fired oven affair, or a three or four course dinner matched with wines. We have a very talented kitchen team that will ensure your taste buds are fully tickled!
After Dinner we’ll take a little comfort break for you and your guests while we prepare the restaurant for dancing and you can dance the night away until midnight…. when our Night Porter will take care of any guests who are still not ready for bed, you can take your shoes off, put your feet up and finally – chill out!

PACKAGE PRICING
To take the whole hotel, 16 rooms for 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast prices start from:
£11000 between April and September &
£9000 between November and March
This price includes the following and is based on 30 adult guests, you can add additional guests at any point at additional costs:
· 16 rooms dinner, bed and breakfast (14 doubles/twins and 2 singles)
· A pimms before dinner on the Friday night and two glasses of white or red wine per person with the meal. Plus a dinner menu to suit your plans.
· On the wedding day – After the ceremony half a Bottle of Prosecco and two canapes per person for the drinks reception.
· A piper to pipe at the ceremony and lead you into the Restaurant for dinner.
· Half a Bottle of Red or White Wine per person during the wedding meal. Soft drinks and water provided complimentary.
· A wedding menu to suit your requirements.
· Tea/Coffee and Petit Fours after dinner
· A Glass of Prosecco for the speeches
· An evening buffet half way through the dancing with tea, coffee and wedding cake if you decide on one.
· A wedding band or DJ
· Our usual vases of flowers around the hotel
· Personalised wedding menus on the restaurant tables
· Place cards
The hotel sleeps up to 30 adults and 6 children.

Meet for drinks in The Wee Bar at 7pm before heading down to dinner at 8pm
We can arrange entertainment of you wish – from Magicians to Ceilidh bands
Saturday – guests can come down to breakfast in their own time from 7.30 – 9.30am and enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast
The day is yours then – it may be the big wedding day in which case we’d ensure the transport was in place if you were going to a local Church or Chapel or you may prefer to marry here in our Burns Room, the room where Robert Burns is reputed to have written “The Selkirk Grace” – We’d happily arrange a gourmet celebration meal and dance for you at night - see our package above
If it’s more of an adventure day that you’re after then we can arrange a variety of activities to suit from Clay Pigeon shooting, to 4×4 adventures, Tank Driving, Golf, walking, accompanied cycles, Foraging adventures…. the possibilities are endless
We also have access to two exceptional local shoots and can with plenty of notice arrange driven pheasant days from 100 to 200 bird days.
Again we can arrange music, magic, gourmet food and a good time at night. How about a 7 course Gourmet dinner matched with 5 wines, presented by our wine expert.
Sunday depart after a hearty breakfast with a promise to return.

To hire the main restaurant from 11am - 5pm £500
To hire the main restaurant from 11am to midnight £800
To hire exclusive use of the Wee Bar £300 - 11am - midnight
To hire exclusive use of the Burns Room £500 11am - midnight
