Hotel awarded 4 stars from Visit Scotland

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded 4 stars from Visit Scotland. Previously sitting at the top of the 3 star category our recent refurbishment program and new menus impressed the inspector enough to award us 4 stars. Our refurbishment includes bedrooms and bed upgrades to Hypnos, en suite bathroom refurbishments from Castle Douglas’s Splash Bathrooms, Settee and soft furnishing recovering by MAD Designs of Kirkcudbright and improved services to Wi Fi speed and range. Quality food and service delivered by a professional team resulted in the 4 star award listing the hotel as one of only a handful to achieve this rating in Dumfries and Galloway.
